Shannon McKeehan-Martin

2023 DBMT Recipient

Kurt, Haven, Shannon, and John McKeehan-Martin

We are excited to give our support to this year’s recipients, the McKeehan-Martin family.

Shannon McKeehan-Martin is a graduate of Winton Woods High School and grew up in Greenhills, where her mother still lives. Shannon and her high school sweetheart, John, now reside in Sharonville with their two children, Kurt and Haven.

Shannon is a longtime member of the DBMT community. She has served as a volunteer and even filmed the tournament for Waycross Community Cable, high up on a cherry picker over left-field. She was the only person on the crew brave enough to do it!

The fearlessness that propelled Shannon to film a bird’s-eye-view of the DBMT championship games helps her cope with living with two autoimmune disorders, Sjogrenes and Raynaud's Syndromes. Along with the aches, pains, and health problems that autoimmune disorders cause, a torn ACL makes it painful for her to be on her feet.

Please join us in supporting Shannon and the McKeehan-Martin family! Your donation will help provide the medical treatment and equipment she needs, such a C-Pap machine, blood pressure cuff, and medication, as well as helping pay down the medical debt that has accrued over the many years of Shannon’s illness.
