Denny Buehler memorial tournament
Bringing a community together to help families in need.
The DBMF has continuously operated since 1980 when it was formed as the Denny Buehler Memorial Tournament. Hosted at Spoils Field since it's inception, the tournament is the DBMF’s largest annual fundraiser. It is a co-ed softball tournament with up to 18 teams vying for the championship. Proceeds go directly to families dealing with catastrophic health events.
Forgiving medical debt to give families a second chance.
The Denny Buehler Memorial Foundation (DBMF) has announced their partnership with national non-profit RIP Medical Debt, which is based in New York City. The two charitable organizations plan to leverage, purchase and forgive up to $1 million in Cincinnati-area personal medical debt.
Helping families in need by bringing communities together.
RIP Medical Debt
RIP Medical partners with non-profits across the country to grant access to medical debt which can be purchased by organizations for pennies on the dollar. The DBMF and RIP have a goal of abolishing $1 million in medical debt in the Cincinnati area.
